fluid question

drained and filled up my radiator, motor, and differentials on my 1978 bronco, 400, granny4, part time t-case

question
autozone said :t-case = 80w gear oil
tranny = 50w motor oil
haynes said: t-case and tranny 140w gear oil

what and the heck do i put in my tranny and t-case?>

try the tranny differential, and axel place. I use 80/90, but I don't think you can go wrong

Chilton says 90W for both.

fluid question

im just going to go with the haynes manual and put in 80weight gear oil but im glad i didnt go with what autozone said and put in 50w motor oil into my tranny or maybe i should have and the suckers could have bought me a new tranny thinks for the replys guys
