www.174ahc.org/ is the new link to my old company's website..... if anyone is interested in seeing the baddest Huey gunships.. the "Sharks" ... the only Company in 'Nam authorized by the Flying Tiger Assn. to proudly wear the Shark mouth on our gunships.
Am I proud of being a 'Nam vet? Yes....regardless of what the peaceniks have to say about us.
I never mind about what the peacenicks say. I come from a long line of soldiers including Civil War WWI, WWII, VIETNAM(DAD), then myself in the STORMY SHEILD.Peacenicks fail to remeber from time to time that they can be peacenicks cause us warmongers place our rearnicks on the line.
But they are entitled to their opinion.
As the saying goes, you dont have to support the war, but at least support the soldier.
Most peacenicks never served in the military so they just dont know.
Chevy lovers...
Army, Air National Guard and Army National Guard, Seven active army and fifteen years with the guard as a full time employee. Heavy and light tropo as a primary the entire time, I never changed MOSs even when I switched over to the Air Guard (AFSC actually) 1974 to 1997. As a full time tech with the guard I worked on everything electronic to include krypto. The only thing I miss about the military is the variety.
