fender badging

quick question......

i have a 73 f250 the F-250 badging is on the fenders right where it should be, but on each side, underneath the F-250 badge there are 2 holes, looks like they are for another badge. does anyone know what is supposed to go here?? it is a ranger xlt.

What is the interior like?

Could be Xlt or a Lariat

carpeted interior, bench seat, woodgrain glove box and steering wheel/dash plastic. the ranger/xlt badging is on the bed too, and the report that ford sent says that is what it is too, but dont know what is supposed to be underneath the F250 on the fenders.

The second badge area is probably for XLT, since the Lariat wasn't available until 78, and then it was on the cowl, not the fenders.

The "ranger" emblem goes on the back of the bed under the turn signal on the side. On the fender, it could be something like the Camper Special or on of the other options like that.
