New to FTE
New to FTE here. I have a 76 F150 supercab w/390 and 140,000 miles. Sweet looking truck I think and in great shape. I have had it for about 5 years now 
I would like to restore it and make it a show truck. Only thing is I dont know crap about restoring or engine building and aside from this place I was wondering where I can find something to get me through the begining process. Anything would be helpful.

Welcome to FTE. Start by ordering a bunch of catalogs. There are vendors that advertise on this site. Giving them your patronage supports this site.
Also check out the other forums. There's a forum for your engine family (it's an FE). There's a body work forum. etc.
Start by making sure all the maintenance items are taken care of. Will this be a frame off or a driving restoration (the truck has to be driveable through the restore process)?
Go around and make a list of all the things you want to replace/do. Then spend the time up front to make a plan of action. Make a budget on what it will cost. Tip: If you can, try to make a large purchase from 1 large supplier. Talk to the sales person and tell them what you plan on doing. Then ask if you can get a volume discount. If not then go to another supplier.
Stay organized through the process. Use ziplock bags to organize parts and lable them with an indelible pen.
Above all, search this forum and ask lots of questions.
