Yeah.....I think that there is some metal there! Some panels need to be replaced. I'll be starting on building a new firewall next and I already have a new dash for it. I think that all I will need after that is the driver side floor panel.....I might replace both sides while I am at it.
Pro....Actually....I tow my intact jeep the most with that truck.....tow it to the trails.
Originally posted by ivanribic Hey Idio, when are you gonna get some pics of that Scout in your gallery? Want to make sure I don't pass you buy without stopping to help when you're broke down
Jeremy, is that tow it TO the trail or tow that heep FROM the trail...I'm suspecting the latter
Jeremy, ya can keep your heep. If those ply's your using as rollers are 15's better yet on 5-5.5 since most heeps are I'll take those Need them norrow critters to slice down these black land mud back roads up here just east of where you was in Denton.
I tow it to the trail......mainly because the place I love to wheel at is about 6 hours from me! That is a damn long drive without a top! The PSD is much more comfy! But I drive the heep everyday.
TXQD....those tires are brand new! (well.....they've been sitting for 12 years.....but havent driven a mile) Yeah, they are cheap wagon wheels that are 15x8" and bp is 5x5.5. Where do ya live?? I used to wheel up north east of Denton.....in Nacona....at the WHeeling Ranch! Damn good place!
Scout pics in the gallery, you had better get in there quick and look at them before they are deleted!!
its beat to hell and wont see and road use until later summer/fall im sure. it has no title either haha. but im getting one for it here soon.
oh ya, the doors and top are going to be thrown away too, and a full cage and 5 point race seats are going into it here shortly, along with a spring over lift, extended shackel and 35 mtrs. and a sazall!. and to top everything off, its getting a coat of roll-on black bed liner all over, inside and out. oh ya......the only rust is on the removable top!!!
Ya'll are getting away with MURDER.....I dont know how you get away with mentioning jeeps and scouts or even so much as saying chevy in a legible manner in here.....
I have 4 trucks, well 3 and a SUV.......F-150, F-250, Bronco, and a Dodge Dakota.....I mentioned that Dakota in my signiature and the Ford Fairy came in and deleted my whole signiature....but I fooled 'em this time
MUHHH HAAAA HAAAA HAAAA
Good luck with that jeep tho, but I am glad you are getting used to towing it, you'll be doing alot of that!
Jeremy, I'm in between McKenny and Greenville area. The offroad park is a good ways North West of me.
I knew those ply's wasn't just bought new. I haven't seen a good set in years. most everyone around here used to run em on there farm trucks. now they just wonder between tire styles til they find some that do like those did.
