i would like any info you may have one that front end install. I am seriously thinking about putting the stage #3 kit under my truck. I like the Idea of true coilover suspension. Also would be easy to go to Air Bags later on. Other than that the two installs should be nearly Identical. I would love to hear how it goes.
I did a quick calculation in my head, and the M II kit is nearly as economical as switch to drop beams new late model spindels disk brake setup and all of that jazz. So, why not get a better suspension in the process?? That is my thinnking on the matter. Someone posted something Back in about Oct. 2002 about an artical in, I think, sport truck Magazine, that featured a truck of our era's with Fatman Fab MII frontend under it. Good luck with the swap.
Well it has been installed and all went well. There are pics at www.geocities.com/krazdndenver . Now the truck is bare frame, did some other work like taking out 16" of frame in the rear to get a 115" wheel base, reversed and raised the front spring shack shakels and also moved the rear up and back. I am tring to keep up on the web page, but sometimes other stuff has to be done. Thanks for the replies and if there is any info you want on the install of the fat man kit let me know.
