Not too many people post their own stupid mistakes, so here's mine. Maybe it will save someone a couple hours of aggravation.
My F-150 (see sig) wouldn't start. I read about a hundred posts on the forum. I wiggled the steering wheel, checked the clutch interlock switch, checked the battery terminals, but it still wouldn't start. Then I decided to try and short the posts on the starter relay, and realized that the wire on post in the top-middle of the relay had come off. I hooked it back up and it started up fine.
Oh yeah, I know that little post. I've pulled it as a quick safety measure when working on the engine - then forgot all about it when I tried to start it. If you only do that once, then your doing better than me!
