Hi. My father and I are currently restoring a 1960 Ford F-100. The truck was originally not a Custom Cab, but we are adding a chrome grille, etc. I was wondering if reproduction or NOS armrests are available anywhere for a good price. I've looked through the Dennis Carpenter and LMC Truck catalogs and they have armrests, but not for the '57-'60 trucks. I know they were available as an option, but I can't find them anywhere. Can anyone help me out?
Bought mine from Dennis carpenter. It matched the original on my 1960 and fit great. Let me know if you would like a part # from the catalog. Welcome to the site by the way! Them '60s are great trucks. -4speed
Not all trucks had armrests on both sides, I am on my 2nd 60 truck, the first one had both armrests, 2nd one has only driverside, Go Figure as the 2nd truck has more options such as magic air controls, radio, washer system, chrome rear bumper, chrome front bumper
I am palnning on adding new armrests to both sides as well as a full interior...not doing a resto job..going for the cut here and weld there thing to get a street truck look
Lol. That's my dad's handiwork. I'm only 17, and this truck is going to be my first vehicle. My dad's basically doing all the work this time and teaching me how .. the next one's on me.
He's not a professional, but he does have experience. His area of expertise is the mechanical stuff, the stuff that really counts.
4spd - whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis!?! I'm on Dennis Carpenter right now and can't see any armrests for our truck! I have 1 armrest from my parts truck, and I don't see any in here or other catalogs that are the same........
They have a 2004 edition out? Looks like I need to place an order of parts for a new catalog. $30 is what I paid for mine and it was identical to the original one. -4speed
