460powerhouse. One thing you may be overlooking is if you do spin a main bearing in the journal or a cam bearing for that matter you also risk damaging the block you are wanting to rebuild. If you are indeed getting copper in the oil filter you really need to check it out soon. If you have gone all the way through the lead babbet on the bearings you have too much clearance to have proper oil pressure.
