driver seat comfort

Hi, has anybody experienced a problem with not getting comfortable in the driver seat (2004 w/captains chair and center console) escpecially concerning the door arm rest and distance to the steering wheel? Its been difficult for me to get comfortable...possibly because coming from a smaller vehicle? Any suggestions? Thank you

I don't know about coming from a smaller vehicle. I have the same problem in my 97 Expy. My F-250 with a bench seat is more comfortable. Also my daily ride 2000 Ranger there is no problem with comfort. Ranger is my work truck 200-300 miles per day. So I think it just the Expy.

The Expy is not built for short people like me. I'm 5'6" and my arms tend to hang. I liked having both elbow resting in my Ranger.

My only complaint with my 2k is the lack of side bolster support. It can really kill ya on those long car rides.

i find 2004 xlt more comfortable, with better lateral support in seats than my 2000 xlt. Just wish the 2nd-row seats had as good lateral support as the front seats.

agreed, same on our 99 EB, feels like a flat seat and with leather , really lets ya slide around. boslters that are higher should be a no brainer on a vehcile of this caliber.

maybe Mastercraft seats are in order although they dont come in FULL leather but it matches the EB blue/tan color scheme..
