Talk about not very fun. Today I installed a reese front hitch on my Expy. I'm using it as a "sissy" tool to help me back in my camper and carry bikes when I'm towing my camper etc. Well for the long story short version. I had to remove the skid plate, tow hooks, fog lights, bumper skirt and the bumper. Took me about 3 1/2hrs to complete today. Everything went back together with out a hitch.
I sold that Expy and bought and Excursion. The front hitch worked great. I had to remove the front bumper (made life easier) to install the hitch. It also helps to have skinny forearms, you'll need to reach into the front frame rail for the nots and bolts etc. The bumper cladding on the bottom while have to be cut around the hitch reciever. (maybe 1 inch if I recall)
