Ground Wire Location

Having no experience with the wonderful world of automotive electrical systems, would you help me out by telling me the best/correct place to run the battery ground wire on my '61 pick- up. Should it be attached to the engine (where?) or bolted to the frame itself. In the past I have gathered a lot of knowledge from my direct posts and reading others..you guys have helped me tremendously on my project and I thank you for this.

the ground cable goes from the battery to the side of the block just inside the hole. there is a bolt hole there for it. it is a good idea to run a wire from either the batt. or the block to the body also. there is a groung screw just above the shift rods on the rad support.

how is your truck progressing???
