In short - no. I've heard rumors of one - but they have always been just that- it would be nice if someone could actually post something from Ford which would confirm this rumor I've heard. I so far have not been able to find any information on this subject.
The way this truck is primarliy marketed, I doubt there would ever be any manual transmission even if a small diesel made it's way in to it. The F150 has gone the way of the Van and the SUV.
There are precious few cars or trucks available today without an automatic. I can't think of a single one that's American made. I would be shocked if Ford produced a vehicle in which you could not get an automatic.
It would be great, but the American consumer just wouldn't go for it.

All late model (1993-current) Cobra Mustangs have only been available w/ a manual transmission. SVT Focus is also available with only a manual trans.
Ford (SVT) plans on continuing this trend w/ the new Lightning. I know for a fact it will be available w/ a 6-speed manual trans. What I am not sure of is if it will have an automatic as an option... I do not think it will.
desratt - I can't reveal my sources, but trust me when I tell you they are good ones.

baja stx you just made me a happy man. i do still have hope. the only thing i don't like about the concept is the independent rear suspension. the big question now has turned to "when" i have already waited to long.
