Angry thermostat housing

on my 92 f-150 5.8, i'm having problems with coolant leaking out my thermostat housing. it only leaks until the coolant in the radiator reaches a certain level. when i replaced my thermostat i put a bead of rtv sealant on each side of the gasket and then torqued the bolts down to spec but it is still leaking. is it a problem with the housing or is this a common problem on these engines? i really haven't been worrying about it but its starting to get warmer here and i don't really feel like having my engine overheat if possible. any help would be appreciated.

Is your thermostat sitting in the housing properly? If not that would cause a leak. Also, there is a hose near there that could be leaking as well. Just some ideas......

Have you taken your housing off at all and examined it? It could have a crack in it. Your local Ford dealer will have them in stock usually. I cracked 2 on an Inline 6 once. Third time is a charm!
