sounds good except the gt40 intake thats built to put out high rpm hp for like sport cars. the edelbrock performer truck intake bulds low end hp, which is better suited for a 5500lb truck

the performer intake is a good one for our rigs, but if you plan on running a blower, you are going to want to get a mustang style intake instead, the performer intake when put boost on, will starve the front cylinders by the back end taking it all in. having the TP in the middle is just a better setup for a blower. my .02 cents
oh yeah, yey for the supercharger. but for your motor, NO unless you are rebuilding first. i just dont think your motor will last long without a fresh build.
i like it but with alot of horsepower how does it handle on the hwy?
lol just get in the otherlane to pass before you hit the gas! otherwise youll be fishtailing. lol my friend has a Dodge charger that has that kinda power and its scary if you dont know how to drive it.
I have a dodge charger that I'm restoring and I just finished the engine and does have that scary muscle power but on the truck is it to high and does it have to much body.I'm would like to know is it going to be safe with the following mods:MAF,BIGGER THROTTLE BODY,EDELBROCK TRUCK INTAKE,PORT & polish stage 3,bigger cam, comp lifters,a nice set of headers, flowmasters dual exhaust 30 or 40,series,k& n cold air intake system,(whats a good computerchip for our truck?)with a engine rebuild, all new internal parts, with a forged bottom end, because depending on it runs and handles will dictact if i put a supercharger on it or not but the above is my plan for now.my thing is i need a truck thats able to drive across country today if i need it to,but i love the bronco it can take you to the mountains or has the capability to take you down the road at high speeds.as you can tell i love speed and power in all my vehicles and i will send pictures of all my vehicles.I have a 1983 bronco that i've been working on but can't get it like i want it so i'm going to give it to my father it will be good for him because he don't travel alot.83 mods headers, dual exhaust, shiftkit,k&n filter,600 holley carb, need help
