I finded it. Still has all the hardware and bushings. I have an ad in the Classified's here if you need to reach me, or thru another site. Just like to get shipping on the sway bar, and a little extra for the bushings.
Well, I had a 88 with both swaybars, and then bought my 91 with only the front one. I liked the way the 88 handled better, so I yanked the rear one off before sellign it. I just put it on my 91, and it's like a new vehicle. It handles on ramps like a car (well almost) and wind doesn't swing the rear around on the interstate. I drive 100 miles interstate round trip to work, and cruise about 80-84mph, and it drives striaght as an arrow.
On my 88, I actually offroaded it often, but liked the better handling for around town. Nonbody makes dissconnects for Brocnos, so I made my own. Just replace the lower bolts on front with clevis pins, and pull them out when wheeling. Use some bungees or something a little more sophisticated to hold the bar up out of the way.
On the rear, I replaced the nuts on the bottom of the swaybar links with large stainless wingnuts. Just take them off, swing the rear bar up out of the way, and offroad you go with more flex than most jeeps!
That sounds great!!! I had originally planned to do the same, even replaced the stock bushings with poly's to firm up the ride. Mind you, I had rode in the Bronco almost since the year it was new when my friend bought it in 1984, so I could tell what was going on when cruising around town or towing a 6500# trailer. When I got it a few years ago, all of the bushings were worn out, but the Bronco still drove and rode fine. Throw on a 6" suspension lift, and it intensifies any little problem you might have stock. With this in mind, I replaced ALL of the suspension and body bushings prior to the lift. I feel that the stock sway bars were not meant to be used with the lift kit, and that they would really need to be extended to do much good with the lift. So I removed them and never looked back. The ride is more stable due to the lift kit, and I no longer use the Bronco for towing.
