Converting power locks to manual locks

Has anyone ever converted the power door locks to manual locks in their Ford F-150's?

when mine stopped working, I took the actuators off. You need to take the door panels off, then you can remove the actuator rods and wiring

hmmm, when power locks stop working, dont they become manual all by themselves ??

when they stopped working, it was because the motors were seized up and the actuator would not move. I had to remove the motors just to get the doors locks to work.

Power locks are Really cool.

but i'm a fan of old fassion things.
Less electronics, less to go wrong.

Second thought on this. Its comming from a computer technition. haha.
