95 f-250 w e4od
I have a 95 F-250 with an e4od. I'm wondering how hard it is to rebuild this tranny myself, I'm not a mechanic but I'm not stupid either. I was looking on Ebay and some transmission shops sell the rebuilding kits and some have upgrade kits as well. Is this a reasonable undertaking? I have replace the tranny before, this will be the 7th. I was wondering also how difficult it would be to put in a 5 speed manual instead. I checked a few shops locally but didn't get a satisfactory aswer either way and now much enthusiasm to try. Any advise would be helpful.
