My friend has a 2001 F150 with 30k and probably needs new front pads and maybe rotors. He says it grinds in the front at speeds below 30. I have alot of experience with many other manufacturers, except Ford. Any tools/tricks I need to know before I start or is it straight forward? Will I need just the standard tools?

everything is straight forward, no special tools, just need a brain and hands (and hand tools)

 

The front are pretty easy. Regular standard tools...

 

My truck is also due for a brake pad replacement. Can someone help me in picking what's the best brand to buy? Thanks
