Good afternoon wise ones of the FTE forum. I am seeking help with my baby, she is a 2001 F350 Super Duty CC 4X4. I have a power draw on the batteries of .246 amps. I have gone nuts tracking it down, from cables, to alarm, to disconnecting both alternators one at a time to fuse by fuse check. FINALLY I found a .246 amp draw on fuse #15. Pull this fuse the draw drops to an acceptable .055-.056.. I went to the owners manual and looked up the #15 fuse and just my luck there are several BIG items in the list: Stop Lamp Switch (Logic):Generic Electrical Module (GEM), Powertrain Control Module (PCM), Four Wheel Anti-Lock Brake System (4WABS) Module, Break Shift Interlock, Cluster and PCM Keep Alive Memory. I am looking for some direction and hope that by narrowing it down to the #15 fuse and all that it includes will help with the possible solutions. Thank you for your time, I can't wait to see what I have over looked.

You can rule out items by disconnecting them. Pull the PCM relay and see if that has any effect. You can also unplug the brake switch and shift interlock solenoid to narrow down the items.
If you have a chip then make sure you take necessary precautions before killing power to the PCM.
Ok, brief update, I have unplugged the PCM relay, break switch, both alternators with no change in the amp draw. I am attempting to locate the shift interlock solenoid so I can rule that out. Is there a way to test the GEM? I don't seem to be having the typical GEM type problems like window issues or heater blower issues but I'm not discounting anything at this point. I am will to try most anything. And THANK YOU for the assistance!
