Learned about the tires chopping alittle during turns with 4 x 4 engaged when starting with wheels turned. Still does it at slow speeds and im concerned, kinda bucks alittle even on very slow accelleration. How can I check this out and what could problem be. 2000 Crew cab Dually 7.3 LB..Thanks
When you experience this prob, are you turning in 4x4 while on dry pavement, that would certainly cause the bucking because of too much traction. It is suggested to not use your 4x4 on dry pavement at all or at least for any distance. Good luck
I have never experienced that on snow before even in tight turns, I have however had it happen quite often when transitioning from dry pavement to the sandy access roads to get on the beaches by my house. I don't think this is a problem, just the nature of the beast.
