Was just wondering if anyone on here does any photography at all? I personally do alot of sunset/rise (nature pics) and just kinda some abstract and documentry pictures. What do you all do?? Here is a link to a few of the pictures that I have taken (some of them arent any good), but check them out if you guys have time.
I am an amatuer photographer, it's one of those I have to find time for. None of my photos so far are any good, I have mostly nature pics and ones of my truck. -william
Amateurs here too. I can't wait until we can afford a new Canon Rebel EOS digital camera, my wife has been drooling since we saw one. ($1000! Ouch!) We mostly ride around and shoot local scenery, buildings, wildlife, etc. Maybe I can get her to upload some onto Webshots and post a link.
I have a canon rebel x eos that was a senior gift to me. Mother got it at walmart for $90 bucks, it was the display model. It's pretty good, ok now I'm going to use it b/c of this post, it has sat on the shelf too long. Thanks traxxis. -william
Been doing photography for four years now and love it. Run two Olympus OM-10's and a recently purchased Canon Rebel 2000 (which I'm still unsure about 'cause I've only put one roll through it, so far). I enjoy getting out of the city with the pickup and taking the back roads. There's all sorts of interesting things you find when you're really looking.
My dad has been letting me use his camera stuff for a while now. I always have a problem when i take pictures in low light...they always come out grainy. Also, any picture taken on the ME-Super has green streaks on it when they are developed. I usually use either 400 or 800 spd. film.
I just dug my dad's old cannon out of the closet and have been practicing shooting things like clouds and other nature stuff. Havent got any of the rolls developed yet but im not expecting anything remarkable.
I have a canon EOS 2000 that replaced my old (and broken) olympus om-10 I still have a hard time getting it to do what i want... seems the automatic everything sees things differently than i do.
LAst weekend at the hockey rink , I reverted to setting everything to manual and using my trusty old vivitar flash to get the images i wanted.
I got a panasonic digital for christmas. it's nice and takes good photos under most conditions, and its cheap to shoot, but it just doesnt see things the same as film does, and it's going to take some getting used to. I dont think digital has replaced film just yet.
I have a photography and graphic arts degree, Not worth much but i like having it. I use a Minolta 7000 maxim. Old one. Does the trick though. I take mostly studio and outdoor nature pics. and of course ones of my truck.
Personally, I like shooting my digicam. I use a Canon A40, and an Olympus C5050. Most of the pics on that website are w/ the A40.
Yeti- I will be happy to send you a copy. Give me a day or two. I just got back from the mountains today and am gonna rest for a while. I'll post the pics I took this weekend soon too. Sweet bike man, that's awesome scenery.
So most of you all do 35mm eh?
88Grandmarquis- Man, fantastic shots, the black and white one's are perfect.
