I have a 2002 F-250 with a 4 inch skyjacker lift and 33 inch mud terrins and would like to put on 35 inch SuperSwamper SSR's. Does anyone have any opinons good or bad on these tires
What do you want from them? I have had a couple sets of BFG mud terrains, and now have SSRs. They are just a little louder than the BFGs, and handle on the street about the same. However, they are PHOENOMINAL offroad compared to the BFGs, but they do wear out a little quicker. I would recommend them, but I have them, so my opinion is a little biased. If you just want the looks, well, they look good, but are expensive, and wear kindof quick, so is the look worth it? That is up to you. Hope this helps, Ted
If your mainly on the road go with the bfgs, I have 2 sets for my 96 F350 PSD 4x4 and they are a good every day tire, you will get 60k out of the bfg mtrs with proper rotation and I run mine at 50-55 psi on the highway 60-80 mph no vibrations and reasonably quiet. The bfg a/ts are better on ice but I prefer more aggresive appearance of the mtr. The interco tires are more suited for off road then on. Get the 315s wont have to regear and better gas mileage.

BFG's are the most over priced, over rated tires made. They weren't bad 2 years ago before BFG started the whole fixed pricing thing, but now they are about the most expensive Light Truck tire you can get. Go for a set of Toyo Open Country's or Nitto's. You'll save some money, and you'll have a much better tire.
