porting
Im thinking about porting and polishing my intake is this a good idea? what can i expect from it?

You mean the intake side of your head? You might at well do the exhaust side too and from what I've heard this will really wake this engine up since it has rather small ports. While you're at it get some bigger valves and you will really be moving.

what size of larger valves is preferred when do the porting, and wher id the best place to find them

People say they use valves from a chevy 350 after it's ported out.

yeah i thougth of this too dose any body know how muck roughly a port and polish cost?

I got a price the other day of $40 a port, but I've heard you can get it done for around $200

it would probably be better to put larger valves in while the head is out.
