Hard pulling with SCMT

Hard pulling with SCMT
Are there any adverse side affects with hard pulling with the SCMT in the 60hp mode? As my sig shows I run the 4" Monster exhaust and Severe Duty intake. I assume I am okay with egt's due to these mods. I don't have guages YET because I am not sure which location I like best.....a-pillar or under the cubby. Two weeks while pulling the boat into heavy head winds, I got a code and a strange air hissing sound from the engine. As I got into town the light went away and I later cleared the code which has not come back. The code I believe was a fuel pressure related code (can't remember) reading too high/low??????? Well everything has been fine since. My question is should I detune the truck when planning on towing....or was this occurance just a fluke with the SCMT? I would rather junk my tuner than my PSD!!!!!

GET A PYRO ASAP. i have a 3 pos flip chip and my tow program is a +50 hp. when i am pulling my boat (20ft alum. walleye boat) the egt will hit 1250 way before i run out of power(say going up a hill ). so if you are pushing it, you very well could be running to hot.
i also have a full 4" exhaust, an airaid intake, zoodad, and crankcase vent bypass
