I am sure you are right, I just associate the diaphram one with the Hydraulic Clutches..
I do not think that the Hydraulic Clutches have enough travel to release the Long arm style pressure plates..

I think it would put a lot of stress on the other parts of the hydraulic system to try to push a Long pressure plate.
