cat removal

if someone wanted to install a "complete exhaust" (headers to tips) in the new "04, and eliminate the cats, could it be done? Would the computer have to be "tricked"? I have seen this type of exhaust make good gains in 5.0L mustangs, but I don't know anything about the new f-150's computer, so it might do more damage than good.
Any thoughts? (besides it won't pass emissions testing, I know that one

Just like in a 96 and newer Mustang(4.6) you would probably have to get an MIL eliminator kit to stop the computer worrying about the lack of cats. But, I have no idea if that woud even be enough on these trucks since the computer has so much control. Even if it would work you'll have to wait until something comes out. By the way...good luck putting those headers on!!

thanks, the computer does seem to have a bigger grip on this vehicle than the older mustangs. We'll see!
