removing trim panel?

Have any of you guys ever tried to take the dash trim panel off that the headlight, dimmer, auto lamp module is mounted in? I cant get the module out . There is a bolt behind this module that must be taken out to get the panel itself out. My manual is vauge on how to remove it. It should come out in one piece but i hate to try to pry or pop it out because it seems really tight in there.
Thanks

Headlight switch and dimmer are all one assy. You remove it as a unit. Then you can remove trim panel.
Below is for removal of switch assy.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301).
2. Turn the headlamp switch **** to the headlamp position and pull the ****.
3. Insert a thin tool to release the headlamp switch **** and remove.
4. Turn the headlamp switch **** 180 degrees and install.
5. Turn counterclockwise until the back of the headlamp switch **** is in the off position.
6. Turn the headlamp switch **** clockwise fully.
7. Remove the headlamp switch.
