General Precautions # 26 from the glock instruction guide.
"Only use high quality commercially manufactured ammunition, in excellent condition and in the pistol caliber of your pistol. The use of reloaded ammunition will void the warranty, due to the fact that there is no way to verify the standards (SAMI/NATO) adhered to because reloads or poor quality ammunition sometimes do not need specification (SAMI/NATO), exceed limits and could be unsafe."

not really, the glock is one of the most durable handguns made. you have to be careful what ammo you feed any gun. it is kinda like computers(garbage in, garbage out) only in this case it comes out in a real hurry!! and in the wrong direction!!
Seen a Ruger Black Hawk that some idiot had hand loaded some Long Colt 45s up to match 44 Magnums. Blew the cylinder apart and they never did find the top strap. Pray I never get to personally experiance one of those "failures".
Just peachy, my 10mm Model 20 is like a hand cannon anyhow. I shoot Norma ammo and have stovepiped it a time or two, I hope this never happens. I migh just have to go back to my Sig but the 9mm is such a weenie.

Most brands and models come with this warning now for liability reasons.
I have fired every type of ammo in mine and never had any trouble. Gotta love Glocks . . . they never fail.
On a related note, I just got back from the shooting range. The Glock rep was in and let me fire a Glock 18 (full auto). Burned through $20 in ammo so fast I didn't know where it went but it was the most fun I've ever had with a gun. Too bad they only sell them to law enforcement. If you ever have an opportunity to try one out do it!
i dont mean to spout off, but i will. ruger makes some very good wheel guns but their autos are the huyndai (sorry i don't know how to spell it) of automatic handguns.s&w are great handguns, i own them,in fact the best shooting gun i have is my 4506, but when i trust my life to a gun day after day it's a glock. and i pick what i carry
Whil were spouting,I just read a story about a cop who shot off (the family jewels) while tucking a glock into his waistband. My beef is this. Why cant the U.S. industry get off their lazy axles and create a handgun solely for lawenforcement that is better than all the others?I for one would sleep better knowing that the guy who is out there protecting the rest of us,has equiptment that works 100percent,won`t remove his juju`s because of safety issues.and won`t get him killed because while his gun is blowing his hand apart, the bad guy`s gun is working just fine?
