There is no accounting for taste, fiveseven. Some time back, I posted a pic of a "custom" from the early 60's... big time prize winner in its day, mind you... and everyone hated it.
Moon hubs were de riguer (see handsome Bob for correct spelling) back when that truck was new... and flame jobs far less extravagant.
Big ol' Moon spun aluminum disks are kind of dated... in a bad way. On the other hand, there is a timelessness to torq-thrust wheels of the same era. Design wise it is a case of too much of a good thing. In this artist's eye, that's what this truck suffers. Too much wheel cover, too much flame. Nice interior tho'. Jersey boys like their comfort.
Compromise with your dad... chrome reversed's are always a hot item. best. himmelberg
Yuck, why put a motor in of that calibur, then cootie bob the install? Moon disc look cool IMO, but don't go on all vehicles. Painted steelies with baby moons look good. When you get the truck back together, I'd be glad to photoshop a few combo's on it for you. Let me know, -4speed
Yikes! Good Gawd! I hope no one we know is bidding on that thing. It looks like Medusa under that hood.
The Moon Speed Equip. '60 F100 has full discs, but then, it's Moon! They can get away with it. I prefer chrome reversed rims with spider caps and wide whites myself.
