wont lock in

I have had my 1973 f250 mud truck sitting over the winter and it started to get warm out so i got it out and i locked the hubs in and put it in fourwheel drive and the front driveshafts pins but it doesnt spin the front tires, what do u think it could be?

One of the hubs is either broken or gummed up inside and won't engage.
long shot, broken axle.
