Installing bug shield
I purchased a Ford F150 low profile bug shield for my 2004 XLT, SCAB, 4.6L truck. With the new hood arrangement, I'm not sure what I have to do to install it. Ford sends directions that are just poor pictures, WITHOUT any written directions. Anyone installed this kind?

You need to unbolt the grille from the hood and it slides between the two. You don't really need to completely unbolt the two, just enough to slide it between them. There should be two clips that clip on the ends of the hood and the shield screws to them. Hope this helps.
