Mistake?!?!?
The truck is in to get a window tint (included in deal) and some paint work that the dealer scratched.
Mistake being, I asked if it had the lastest flash. By this I asked. They thought I wanted. 08/03 build so I dont think it has had that flash yet. Am I losing PI? What can I expect if they did flash it?
New to Diesels so help a newb here!

If it has not been flashed at all you may have lost the the pilot injection.Most trucks on the lot were flashed with the oct flash which removes the pilot inj.They may just install the dec flash depending on your location.

Well, the workorder says they flashed it. But with what revision I dont know. Im assuming Oct because thats what they thought the latest flash was.
Im sure its in my head? But seems louder. Much more lag off the start. And it smoked on start up, didnt do that before I know.

May I suggest that you do a search on this site regards "Pilot Injectors" (which have been shut down) to bring yourself up to date on that issue. You'll find the reading considerably informative.
