Brake pedal won't return
Posting for a friend (not my '94 F150 in my signature).
Have any suggestions where to look on a rig that has set for a little while, now the brakes work when pressed on, but the pedal won't return, you have to lift the pedal with your foot (power- disc front, drum rear).

had the same prob with my 78 check brake lines for holes as well check the size of the brake pedal return spring. i had to buy a new one due to the old one was a custom fab type ordeal with a throttle return spring

Thanks 82, I think I'll check the calipers out, maybe there's a spring in one that's bad-weak. I know the rear springs are all new, just changed the whole rear axle. There's no return spring on the pedal on that one (heck, maybe we'll just install one).
