Drivetrain rumble when cold??

Drivetrain rumble when cold??
My 04/04 PSD X has a rumble in the drivetrain when accelerating hard (WOT). It does not do it all the time and I have been trying to find the pattern of this rumble.
Seems to do this during the first 10 - 15 minutes of driving and then stops doing it once the drivetrain reaches normal operating temperature.
Is anyone else with the 6.0/ Torqshift drivetrain experiencing this?
Any thoughts on what is going on?

I suggest you check under your truck. Look for the obvious: u-joints, front end, drive shaft play...etc.
But again, it is a 6.0L SD...just like tn mac mentioned.

I guess I will be forced to talk to my service dept. but really hoped to avoid it.

Now that I know it does this it bugs me. I have driven other 6.0 PSD X's and they do not have this rumble when cold.
What bothers me the most is that I can not think of a reason for it to be doing this. What is changing when warm to make the rumble go away?

check your hanger bng. i had a 1/2 play in my 04 doing the same thing. the factory bng is cheep made, however so is the replacement
