Unhappy Arm Rest

I have a 02 F250 SD Crew Cab 4WD. It has captain seats in the front with a console. The seats have one arm rest each on the inboard side. To me these are usless because they are too short. The console is too low to rest your arm on and on long trips I find it difficult to get comfortable. Any suggestion/mods you guys know of. I tried something as simple as a pillow on top of the console and it works ok I just don't like that too much. I am really looking for something that works well and looks good. Thanks, Dave

I have the same setup but no problems with the armrests. U can swap out the console for the center seat with the armrest/console , but u would have to remove the armrest from your seats.

I agree 14u2nv, so far the only fix I've seen posted is from belz. I'd like to hear some other ideas.

The only thing that makes sense to me is to take the armrests to an automotive upholstery shop, have them extend and re-cover them.

if it is like the rest it pulls out but there is a key way to aligh up to just raise the arm rest a little and pull keep doing this in small incriments until you find the spot its kind of a pain
