Mmmmmmm, White Castles. I love 'em. Like others said, nothing beats a few "sliders" after a night of drinking. They also have pretty good breakfast sandwiches.

White Castle!!!

I remember White Castle very well, but not for the nostalgia. We screeched into the parking lot to satify a hunger because all other places were closed. The white tile in the middle of the night was like a oasis in the desert, a beacon that would shine in the night, drawing us like a moth to the poverbial flame. It did not matter how good or bad the food was, we were just so hungry we never even tasted the food as it went down. Never even thought about it. We just ate.
what was served. I will not coment on our state of mind but perhaps I already did. I would be very surprised if it were the same today!

In Dayton OH we referred to them as "Little Bitty Gut Bombs" and carried Alka Seltzer in the Glove Compartment.

I think we got a sack full for a Buck.
