I'm checking out my front suspension and noticed that there's only 1-2inches between my bump stop and the leaf springs. Could that be correct? That seems like it sucks... NOt to mention that I've only got 2 leaf springs per side. Anyhow justed wanted to know what everyone else thinks...
yea same here......... i tried going over a bump fast for fun and i thought it was gonna be all smooth but the damn thing sounded like i jumped off a cliff!! sheesh i thought the engine was gonna fall out .......

Cutting the bump stops, wouldn't that ram the shock pistion right through the top of the shock?

You can pull the lower shock bolt out and compress the shock by hand comparing the distance it takes to bottom it out to the available suspension travel.
I added a Jack-It leveling kit 2-1/2" about 4 or 5 months ago so I could get a set of 35x14.5x16" under the X, I also have a 3" body kit(PITA). I also added a 1" block to the rear because it was too level, front end looked nose high just because of the fender slope. The leveling kit does make the X ride now like a truck. I would not suggest it if you want to keep the soft ride of a stock X. I like it but I`m used to the firmer ride.
