Question Any opinions on brands of lift kits? Rough country vs. Tuff country?

I've got badly sagging springs on my 96 250 psd and am thinking of a lift kit as opposed to just re-arcing or replacing the front leafs. Looking at kits by Rough country and Tuff country at about the same price. However, the "Rough Country" kit is more complete with shocks and pitman arm extension, whereas with the "Tuff Country" kit these arn't included. Is this a case of "You get what you pay for?" and the kit with everything included is possibly junk? Opinions or other recommended brands?

You might also look into Skyjacker. A good resource for the older superduties is Off-road unlimited in Burbank. They have some great shackle reversal kits for your truck as well as some higher quality custom springs. They might be able to guide you into knowing whats out there for your truck if anything.

Hope that helps

fabtec I have found is better Q but not much seniority compared to the VETS. That have done nothing but LIFT.

I like the Rough Country leveling kit I installed. Every thing fit very well. DO NOT buy the shocks. All 4 shocks leaking in less than A year. I took them off and installed Edelbrock IAS shocks, I like these. Many people on FTE like the Bilstein also.
