Has anyone installed the 3 inch Lift Kit offered by Tuff Country for the 2012 F150 yet? A few parts houses are selling it but there is no info about this new kit on the Tuff Country website.

My close friend brags about tough country all the time and he is a full time mechanic, I trust his word. Just remember to get an alignment
I found this Ford 3" Suspension Lift Kit F150 4wd 2009-2012 - Tuff Country 23000 - 2010 2011
I think I like that it comes with new UCA's so I assume it helps with the angles a LK puts the stock control arms at, and I think I see grease zerks also If you go with this kit make sure to come back and post your comments

Thats a decent kit, looks pretty simple too. Hope you get it so we can see it installed
Ok so ... I guess I may be the guinea pig then. Well here is my dilemma. I have a 2012 XLT Screw 4x4 w/ the 6.5 bed (Black, of course ).
I have installed the Autospring 2.5 Leveling kit in the front ( didn't put the blocks in the back because I like the way the truck sits now ) and put 295/70-18 Nitto Trail Grapplers on 18x8.5 XDseries Spy's on it. My truck looks good ! But....I am getting a small amount of rub in the front when I back up and cut the wheels, like backing out of the driveway too sharp.
I am wondering if this kit would get me the lift I need to stop the rub. The price difference in this kit and a 4 inch kit is nearly.....$1000 bucks ( without install ).
What do yall think?
Is it actually rubbing or is it the TC kicking in? I have almost the same as you and I get that scraping noise also, when I am turning and the truck encounters any slight off camber situation
Yea, it's rubbing. It is catching the lower valence on the bumper. I'm trying to get some more pics of the Tuff Country 3-inch kit but havent had any luck. Even called Tuff Country.
I really like the Rancho 4-inch kit but I would be looking at about $2500 or more to have it installed. I would do it myself but there is something about putting a cut-off wheel to my new truck that I just can't get past. I think I will leave that up to "the pro's"!
As stated earlier, I have the Autospring 2.5 leveling spacers in the front now and was wondering if the 3 inch Tuff Country kit would give me the extra clearance I need to do away with the slight rub.
After reading more on your kit I see that the specs say you can run a 33 inch tire with no mods and a 35 inch tire with minor trimming. Nitto says my tires measure out to like 34.57. I dont know.
I mentioned the Rancho kit in an earlier post but I have used Tuff Country product on an F-250 I had before this truck. It was good stuff. Can you give us the run down on this new kit?
we are running the same tire you have on yours. the only place we had to trim is the front owed plastic on the bumper. far as the back side of the wheel well we did not trim.
when you install leveling kits on these f150s im sure you've seen that the control arm hits the the strut at full droop. we have made the new strut spacers for the 3 inch lift move the top of the strut in so you dont have the strut contacting the control arm. its a very simple clean install. you'll get 3 inches up front and 2 inches in the back. you can find pictures and the instructions here at this link.
