Question Bed Rails

I have a short box single cab, with a crossover toolbox installed and an over the rail bed linner, I was wondering if anybody has some ideas for ned rails so I can tie my loads down. I saw some at a local shop, but they looked flimsy, any ideas will be appreciated.

Have you looked at a real truck accessory shop (not Pep Boys or Autozone). The kind of shop where they do lift kits and off road stuff. They usually have heavy duty stuff, and if they don't have it, they usually have an inhouse welder to make anything you want.

OK, so I am not willing to pay that much for bed rails, has anybody ever had experience with those butterfly bolt, universal mount tie downs?

wickymustang. a good set of rails should cost under a 100.00 and look great and are functional they come in several lenths and styles. try keystonerestling.com those pocket post eye hooks work decent enough i had a set that used a rubber block and as you tightened the eyelet it squeezed the rubber seccuring it into the post but they were stollen

DO a google search for them. I saw a truck with a set of chrome bars that ran from the back stake hole to the front stake hole and they looked awesome...Had a nice curve up and were only about 3 inches parallel to the upper bed rail...

I have a crossover work box, which means no front stake hole, I also have an over the rail bedlinner, I am talking about the butterfly universal mounts, not the stake pocket ones.
