460/highboy swap problem

460/highboy swap problem

I went to get my 460 started today and ran into a problem. I havent gotten it to run yet because of fuel delivery problems but When i turn the starter with the pickup in gear while having the clutch depressed the pickup lunges forward. What the hell is goin on here? It shouldnt move if i have the clutch depressed right? Is it a starter clearance problem or something worse? I have a 360 flywheel that had 1/8" machined off of it, 3 finger 11'' 360 pressure plate. I have the starter that came off of the 460 and a 400 bellhousing.

I had this problem once and it turned out to be one of the rivits that hold the clutch fork to the mount in the bellhousing broke off so it was only holding by 1 rivit
