changing lift

changing lift

i have a 89 F150 and it has a 4 inch skyjacker lift i was told not sure and i want it a 6" what all do i have to change?

depending on if the axle pivot drop brackets are like superlift were there are 4 holes on each bracket one set for a 4" lift and the others for a 6" lift if its like that front end wise you would want to drop both of the axle pivot points to the bottom holes on the brackets then you would need new 6" coils then possibly new radius arm drop brackets then you would be good on the front now on the rear if it has 4" springs then you could go the route of some add-a-leafs or 2" blocks or if it has blocks you could go the same route with add-a-leafs or 6" blocks instead of 4" or new rear springs. i hope i gave you a ball-park idea iam kind of tired so if i missed anything some one else will cover me or ill get the info tomarrow for ya

Yea im putting all new break lines because they are old and crappy and a bit streched so
