I am looking to change my automatic hubs out to the Warn manual ones... I found the hubs, but what else do I need in maybe the conversion ideas!? Can someone tell me how to do this, I heard it wasn't that hard, but I am new to this! I have an 89 Ford Bronco (full size) with 6" lift and 3" body lift running 35 TSL's. I am also getting a bad grinding sound from the front and earlier I was getting a scraping sound like brake pads...what gives?

 

Welcome to FTE. How many screws are on the face of the hub? If you have 3, you need to purchase a spindle nut conversion kit. If you have five or six, you dont need to purchase anything additional. The grinding sound is normally indicitive of the hubs crapping out. I know mine made a god awful grinding sound when the finally gave (96 bronco).
