Has anyone had a bad regulator on the low side? My truck is acting like it's not getting enough fuel during acceleration. It has a stumble for a sec or two, then runs fine. Changed the fuel filter, not getting a check engine light. I'm stumped.
Are you sure you only have 1 fuel filter?
My '86 Bronco has two. If you have a high preasure pump in the tank, then you should only have one filter. If you have a low preasure pump in the tank, and a high preasure pump on the frame, then look between the tank and the hi-preasure pump for a canister filter.
Another possibility is sediment in the tank, or a clog or kink in the fuel line between pump and fuel rail. (a kink in the return line will cause preasure to go up).
