I just saw one today on Ebay. It is a complete 351W that someone is selling. Claims it came straight from factory with 0 miles on it.
If you are looking for a long block, I just purchased a remanufactured 351W HO for $1200. It comes with a 7 year/70,000 mile warranty. Core charge was $150. www.rebuilt-car-engines.com
SPecies, I saw that web site on those 7 year warranty engines. I dont know how they can offer that much. Do you know where those engine;s are shipped from. I'll be looking myself for 87 351 HO before long.
Mine is being shipped from Washington. I think they have some other warehouses around the country. When I talked to them, the guy said he would ship from the Spokanne warehouse so i would not have to pay taxes in CA.
My eng will get here today actually and I will make a post w/pics when I get everything done. I'm doin a 302 to 351W change out in my 90 Bronco.
No, but I am looking very very hard for the 5.8 efi intake system. I was bidding on one on Ebay but it was bid up to $455 and shipping was $65. Too much for a used stock manifold!! If you know where to find one, please hook me up
I have been watching a couple of lower intakes on Ebay, but can't find the complete set. I plan on using the injectors from my 302 in the 351w - I read a post here that said they will work. If not, I'm back to square 1 again.
Yeah, for that kind of money you could get a brand new Trick Flow 351 intake that is WAY better, although the ports might actually kill your bottom end on a stock motor. I don't know what's up with the Ebay thing either. I was looking for a full setup a while back and NEVER seemed to see one.
