Low Oil Pressure

I have a 1989 Bronco with the 351 and the c6 trans. I just did intake manifold and valve cover gaskets. driving home I lost oil pressure. I only drove maybe 2 to 3 miles with no oil pressure. I am thinking it is the oil pump is clogged because there was alot of junk in the engine. My question is do you think I could have hurt anything or will i be ok just replacing the oil pump. Also the bronco has 140k miles on it. Thanks for any help.

I would take the distirbutor out and check the rod ,if it's twisted I'd check the oil pump,if not the wire could have popped of, or it could be your sending unit.

I would put 1 quart of Gunk Motor Oil Flush first, start the engine for 5 minutes. Drain the oil and put a new oil filter and oil.
