I am trying to locate the turnsignal flasher on my 2004 Super Duty. I can hear it, but between the bi-focals and arthritis, I can't find it. It sounds like it is in the center dash area.
I believe it is in a little relay box under the center of the dash, to the right of the throttle pedal. It is probably quite hard to get at
Why are you trying to find it?
Thanks Racerguy.... The reason I'm trying to find it is that I want to install a small warning beeper that beeps when the turn signal is on. I know that many folks find it annoying, but if you are a little hard of hearing it's hard to hear the flasher relay if there is any background noise. To me, it is much more annoying to go down the road with the turn signal on mile after mile. (not to mention, it bruises my ego severly!!) If someone has hearing problems, it's worth 5 bucks to avoid the embarassment.
gordo 101: Ist of all welcome to FTE!! Next I would like to say that it is refreshing to see someone putting a mod on their vehicle that helps them from possibly confusing other motorist. I drive a semi for a living and see what you are referring to all the time(turn signal left on). We have to approach with caution as we are not sure what the driver is going to do.
I sincerly thank you as there are not many people who think of any one but theirselves,
Lenny
Streetcruzer.... Well hand, I guess it takes one to know one. I drove semi before I retired, and I guess a certain amount of courtesy and common sense stays with even when they try to beat it out of you. Keep the rubber side up!!

Ok, I wasn't sure, was just a place to start. Looks like there are a few truck drivers in here. I used to drive before I started building parts for Ford.
