'97 Explorer has idle problem
I have been having a problem everytime I start up my explorer. The truck jumps from 1500 RPMS to around 400 RPMS and almost stalls. If I put it into reverse and try to pull out it does stall, but if I wait a few minutes it runs normal. I have replaced the throttle positioning sensor and the idle air control valve, but the problem still persist. Does anyone know what I should looks for next? Should I just wait a few hundred miles to see if the computer adjust? Or could it be that I appear to have a wiring problem. (fuse #26 keeps blowing) this controls the rear defrost, over drive, DRL, awd. Could that somehow be the problem. Please help!
