I was going to use the X-plan when I picked my Screw up 2 weeks ago, but I got a better price by using the $500 AQHA discount and the $500 "Quick Cash" that the dealer offered me.

I can't say I've heard of any rebates when using teh X-plan.

Texas.

I bought mine on December 31 2003. I'm wondering if the rebate expired already.

Here we go again: Ford just announced a dealer cash program on all F-150s. Dealers can earn anywhere from $0-$1000 for every RETAIL F-150 they sell, if they meet a sales quota. A/D/X/Z-plan customers are not considered retail, and the dealer cash converts to a flat $500 rebate for them. This went into effect yesterday, and it's good through March 31st.

This comes up a lot on the New Truck Buyer forum, so I'll re-iterate: DEALERS DO NOT HAVE THE OPTION OF GIVING X-PLAN BUYERS THIS REBATE. IF YOU'RE X-PLAN, IT'S NO LONGER DEALER CASH, IT'S A CUSTOMER REBATE, AND THEY MUST GIVE IT TO YOU. IF THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU DON'T QUALIFY, THEN THEY'RE STEALING THIS REBATE FROM YOU.

I'm not surprised that this goes on, I'm just disappointed that it goes on SO MUCH. And some dealers wonder why we have a bad reputation............

There is currently a $1000 cash back incentive for all 2004 F-150 LD Regular Cabs and Super Cabs with the X-Plan. Nothing for the Super Crew.

All customer rebates/incentives are in addition to the X-Plan pricing.

How can I document your info? I went to my dealer this morning and asked for the $500 on X-plan for my screw. He denied that there was a rebate. I told him about the guys on this forum that were getting the rebate and he said that it was a "regional thing" and our Northeast region didn't qualify. I don't want to get into a pi**ing contest with him. I'd just like to prove him wrong and get my rebate.

Thank you
Mark

Melie...I can confirm that there is a $500 rebate using the x-plan, on top of the current $1k cash back (or finance option) for my s/cab. I'm picking mine up tomorrow and dealer already has the total $1,500 credit written in. (Yes, I purchased with x-plan). When I "get zee paaaaperrrs", I will try to get any documentation of the $500 x-plan deal.

Jeff...I think you have reason to be ticked at this guy's dealer, sound like pure greed has set in! Stuff like that gives all dealers a bad rep (except you, bud).

Good luck with your wheels! -Don

Give me the ZIP code of the address you're using to purchase the truck, along with the model you're getting (reg. cab, supercab or supercrew) and I'll get you the documentation.

Tell your dealer that "when he checks SmartVINCENT on fmcdealer.com, he needs to look at program #9280 under X-Plan sales type. This will show that any X-Plan buyer residing in city of Lewiston, county of Androscoggin, state of Maine, is entitled to a $500 cash rebate. It shows it under the rebate programs, NOT the dealer cash programs."

And you never even told me you live in Androscoggin County, now did you?

You are good.
Armed with this ammo I'll be on my dealer's door step Monday morning. I'll let you know what happens.

Thank you

Just making sure that I am eligable for the rebate before I go in there tomorrow and make a fool of myself. I purchased and paid for the truck on 10/31/03. I officially took delivery of the truck 03/03/04. Does this x-plan rebate still apply to me, where I bought the truck so long ago? Sorry to keep pestering you.

Regards
Mark
